Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan - Italy
Bocconi University was the first University in Italy to offer a specialization in Economics and Business Administration. It has been one of the leading universities in Europe and Italy since its instigation in 1902. Bocconi has continually provided an excellent academic background while stressing cultural awareness, an international perspective and providing the tools necessary to succeed in the fast paced world of business. The University Faculty is made up of more than 600 members and the student population totals over 12,800.
Location
Bocconi University is located in downtown Milan. Visitors come to this city for its fashion, cuisine, opera, the world’s fourth largest church, Renaissance castle, and da Vinci's Last Supper fresco. But this is very much a working city, the country's business and financial capital. Shopping is huge in Milan, the eating is legendary and night clubbing is the best. The large city sprawls for miles, but the main historic attractions can be found between two of the most important: the spectacular domo and the spiky Sforza castle.
