The University offers a wide spectrum of facilities to its students. An art studio and a sports center with intramural and intercollegiate sports are some possibilities for students.
Location
The modern campus covers fifteen acres in the quiet suburb of Victoria by the Río de la Plata shores. The suburban campus is only a 30 minute drive to downtown.
Buenos Aires is a booming metropolis and the governmental, financial, industrial and cultural heart of Argentina. The modern, cosmopolitan atmosphere hums with a constant buzz of energy, fed by a large variety of art galleries, museums, theaters and cinemas to choose from. Culture lovers can enjoy brilliant tango shows, superb ballet performances, classical music and opera concerts or fine exhibitions at museums and art galleries.
Buenos Aires is much more than a cultural experience. The nightlife is endless: there are cafés, restaurants, discotheques and clubs with every kind of music you can imagine. You can see world class soccer games at nearby stadiums or the best polo matches in the world. Buenos Aires boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

Academic Information
Students will be enrolled in four courses per semester. There is one required course, "Argentine Society and Culture" designed for students studying abroad. The class is taught by members of the faculty and speakers include prominent figures in Argentine political, cultural, and artistic life. The other three courses are electives.

Credit Equivalency
4 UDESA courses = 5 SSB courses (15 credits)
*1 UDESA course = 48 hours
Language
All courses are taught in Spanish. However, Universidad de San Andrés professors, staff and students have an excellent command of English. Schulich students need to complete a Spanish language exam administered by UDESA. Students continue to study with Spanish as a second language through the term for as long as the professor deems it necessary.
Facilities
A modern computer center with 35 working stations divided into 2 computer labs. Electronic libraries are also available.
Accommodation
Foreign students have the option of living with an Argentine family. When possible, students will live with the family of a fellow university student. Breakfast and dinner will be provided by the family; lunch can be taken at the University cafeteria. Apartments and residence are also available.
Health Insurance
If needed, exchange students can have medical insurance provided by a renowned Argentine health insurance system.
Visa
A visa is required and should be obtained from the Embassy of the Argentine Republic once the acceptance letter is received.
