National University of Singapore (NUS), Business School

The NUS Business School is one of the ten faculties/schools in the National University of Singapore, a global knowledge enterprise. NUS inherits its rich academic tradition from a lineage of distinctive predecessor institutions, which includes the University of Malaya (1949), the University of Singapore (1962) and Nanyang University (1956). The university’s roots can be traced to July 1905, when a Medical School was founded in the venture for higher education, later known as the King Edward 7th College of Medicine (1921). The National University of Singapore was inaugurated in 1980 with the merger of the University of Singapore and Nanyang University. Today, NUS is a modern national university that has succeeded in establishing high standards in teaching and research.
