IÉSEG – Institut d'Economie Scientifique Et de Gestion, France

IÉSEG is a private institution founded in 1964 a member of the Catholic University of Lille and authorised by the French Ministry of Higher Education & Research to deliver academic qualifications. IÉSEG's curriculum is designed to teach entrepreneurship and to foster a sense of business ethics. IÉSEG trains future managers in all the functional areas of management to give them a global vision of business in the international arena. IÉSEG offers courses based on sound general knowledge, economics, management skills, finance, marketing, quantitative methods and human resources. The permanent faculty whose members hold qualifications from "Grande Ecoles" or Universities, and highly qualified outside specialists from both universities and companies, give students first hand knowledge of the business world.

With a population of approximately 1 million inhabitants and 6 European Capitals within a 250-kilometre radius, Lille, due to its strategic position at the crossroads of Northern Europe, is rapidly gaining status as a world trade and communications centre. The 'fixed link' between Great Britain and Continental Europe with high-speed trains to Belgium and West Germany enhances Lille's location. As the traditional capital of Flanders, Lille is a lively University town offering numerous leisure pursuits. Cinemas, theatres, an Opera House and a Philharmonic concert hall are all within walking distance of the University. It is also a region rich in history and culture. The sandy beaches of the Côte d'Opale are a mere hour drive from Lille.
