Joint MBA/MFA (and) MBA/MA Degrees

Schulich and York’s Faculty of Fine Arts have established a three-year joint degree program leading to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) combined with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or Master of Arts (MA) in fine arts.

Students can enrol in one of two fine arts streams for the joint program. The areas of fine arts specialization within the MBA/MFA stream are visual arts, theatre or film. The areas of specialization within the MBA/MA stream are art history, dance or music.

Graduates of either stream will follow career paths in which knowledge of the arts and of management and business are required. The business and arts components of the MBA and MFA (or MA) complement each other in focus and offer excellent preparation for those interested in management careers in the arts and cultural sectors.

For information additional to that included below, contact either the Schulich Office of Student Services and International Relations at (416) 736-5060, or the Faculty of Fine Arts, Reception and General Enquiries at (416) 736-5136.
